Slip a jack stand under the rear sub-frame to provide added safety. 2 Locate the small plastic adjustment access cover in the rear of the center console. Lift it out of the console using a small screwdriver to gain access to the adjusting nut located underneath it. 3 Lift up on the e-brake lever until it clicks three to five times. Screw the adjuster nut clockwise until the brake pads clamp tightly on the rotor and the rear wheel can not be spun by hand. 4 Release the e-brake lever and verify that the wheel now turns smoothly.
